Summer send-off for last Hillsborough Farmers' Market of summer 2019

The last Hillsborough Farmers’ Market of summer 2019 is this Saturday, 31st August with over 35 stallholders setting up shop along the Dark Walk at Hillsborough Fort.

As always there will be a range of ‘farm to market’ produce and a varied range of other local, seasonal, artisan and craft producers at the market. Seasonal vegetables, speciality meats, free-range eggs, cheeses, breads, cakes, chutneys, jams, charcuterie and confectionery producers will be lined up along the lane for you to browse, try and buy.

As always, a colourful selection of locally grown herbaceous perennial plants will greet you as you enter the Dark Walk from the Main Street of the village and with it being the month of celebrating our highly skilled and creative craftspeople we have a small considered selection of artisan craft stalls joining us. We are particularly excited to have local craft designer, Wendy Ward joining the market for the first time.

Getting the most out of a trip to the market couldn’t be easier:

🅿️Keep an eye out for the parking signage - see below for list of parking places

♻️ Help us reduce plastic use and bring a shopping bag to carry your goodies 🛒
